Mountain Peak Cafe is THE place to be! Today I tried the Berry Nice Refresher. Delicious!! My norm is Grilled Cheese or Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich and a Sunkist or Pepsi. It's fabulous walking in and Gratia knows me by name and my usual. You have to try this place. 5 stars

I love this place! Their breakfast sandwiches are so good and the service is always amazing! Gratia is so sweet and is great with mixing whatever drinks you want. If you don’t know what’s good, just ask her and she will help you find something amazing! I loved her suggestion of the lemonade infused with peach and mint herbal tea! It’s soooo good!

This coffee shop is an absolute gem in our community! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the coffee is always fresh and delicious. But what really makes this place shine is the staff—every single person here greets you with a smile and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. A special shout-out to Lanie, who goes above and beyond every time. She remembers my order, offers great recommendations when I want to try something new, and somehow manages to brighten my whole day with her kindness and energy. You can tell she truly cares about the customers and loves what she does. If you’re looking for great coffee, a comfortable spot to relax or work, and the friendliest employees (especially Lanie!), you won’t be disappointed.

My daughter and I received the absolute best service from Gratia. She helped us decide on some drink selections and even helped my picky daughter within seconds on what would be good. The drinks are best around! We will most definitely be coming back in the near future. Thank you so much Gratia!!!

Stopped in at Mountain Peak Cafe while riding through town on my motorcycle with my dog—and I’m so glad I did! It’s not easy to find a cafe with a shady outdoor patio and one that welcomes pups, but they went above and beyond. They even brought out a bowl of water for my dog so she could cool off while we relaxed—such a thoughtful touch. I had the protein bowl and it was delicious—hot, fresh, and full of flavor. My husband grabbed a coffee and hasn’t stopped talking about how good it was. And the staff? The sweetest girls ever! Their energy was so kind and welcoming, it really made the whole experience feel special. As someone who works with Highland cows, I was obsessed with all the Highland Coo decor—it felt like home. 5 stars without a doubt. I’ll be making a stop here every time I roll through. Amazing place. We were traveling through town and just did a quick search on maps to find it. So happy, if we ever go through Gunnison again we're stopping. Also, gotta give a shout out to the most outstanding employee ever, I can't remember her name, but I added her picture. We were having some car issues, she went out of her way to help put us in contact with someone who helped us get out of a huge pickle. Thank you so much!

I stopped in yesterday, 8/21/25, and Gratia was beyond kind and so welcoming. She greeted me the second I stepped in and immediately had such wonderful customer service. She helped me decide on my delish drink I ordered. I finally got me some yummy pumpkin coffee. She also even let me taste it to make sure it was to my liking, which it was. She was super friendly and sweet. I will be stopping in a lot more with great service like that and delicious drinks! super cute shop and loved the vibe.

We like the homie and friendly atmosphere, seem like everybody knew each other there. We had a couple sandwiches that were pretty good although I prefer my bread not fried, maybe I should have asked them about that first. We didn't drink any but the coffee sure looked and smelled good!
